The watch has the Certina DS concept, which is characterised by the following five properties: sapphire glass (extremely scratch-resistant), O-ring seal on adjusting shaft, two O-ring seals in crown, specific seal in the case back, reinforced case back.
The DS concept, which was developed for Certina watches, is a double safety system, which provides optimal protection against external influences, such as pressure, temperature, moisture, dust and impacts.
The movement is the Swiss ETA automatic movement 2824-2, the movement has 25 stones and has a power reserve of approx. 38-40 hours
